If Caring Was a Currency: 100 Words

If caring was a currency, it’d be a heavy one.

It wouldn’t be wire transfers, card swipes or simple checks.
It wouldn’t be an e-bill or an automatic withdrawal.
If caring was a currency, I think it would be Uranium.

Uranium is dense.
Uranium makes a strong man’s shoulders drop.
It’s thick and weighty and inconvenient to carry.

But Uranium is also powerful.
It fuels our world.

It’s fitting that the heaviest element would offer the most power.
It seems natural that the most inconvenient substance would drive so much energy.

To care is to sit in the heaviness.
