Thankful for the Warmness

A story in a story,
that’s what the seasons tell,
that our being and our doing,
is dug beneath the change.
The steam now serves a purpose,
my hands cup the warmth,
the wind has changed her voice,
and the trees will now respond.
The smell is unmistakeable,
there is newness in the air,
lame feet will walk together,
bound hands will now extend.
Our sides will know the season,
the fields will hear our praise,
oh, come look at this newness,
it’s been purchased by His name.
