Another Tree

A people of sharing,

that’s how we were made.

Formed in the garden,

and given a name.

Yet, we share the rotten,

we give the bad fruit.

Our hands outstretched,

we often give shame.

This is the curse.

Sin tempted, Eve gave,

Adam received and paved the way.

Yet, a new Adam came,

to share not death but life.

His outstretch hands,

cost Him his life.

He hung on a new tree;

from there we pick life.

In His dying words,

there is forgiveness.

In His empty tomb,

there is hope.

Sharing is not uncommon,

yet to give life…

This is our Hope!
